Community built Roundhouse Structure Morchard Bishop

The Tanglewood Project is an established educational organisation teaching creativitly outside of the traditional classroom setting. We offer an extensive range of educational experiences for all ages and abilities from all walks of life.

The Tanglewood Project offers opportunities ranging from building stunning reciprocal rooved roundhouses, to the creation of bespoke workshops which meet the specific needs of the learners. These can be one off events, or delivered as an extended programme.

The Tanglewood Project offers sessions which are influenced by the ethos of Forest School, underpinned by the Protective Behaviours model (A framework of language which encourages and adventurous approach to life whilst acknowledging the right to feel safe and the corresponding responsibility to be safe.) This process of taking learners on a journey of personal development, whilst engaging in a practical and often creative experiences, outdoors provides hugely positive outcomes for all those engaged.
